Our Gold Sky River Cottage, just one hour from Seattle, is set at the end of a peaceful winding country road, past green meadows, romping horses, grazing deer and surrounded by majestic trees. This spacious and bright riverfront home has an expansive front yard with a beautiful natural landscape that makes you feel like you've been whisked away to a fairy-tale like world. Bring the pets! The front yard is fenced and ideal for the furry friends. The large riverside deck has plenty of places for lounging and a sparkling hot tub, the perfect place to relax and take in the sights.
The 3 bedroom, 2 bath interior has a stunning view of the river from almost every window- and there are LOTS of windows! Cathedral ceilings and an open floor plan in the living, dining and kitchen area make it easy to enjoy time with family and friends while soaking in nature's beauty. The master suite has french doors that open to the large riverside deck, as well as a private full bath with double sink vanity and jetted tub. Up to 10 people can sleep comfortably when utilizing the sleeper sofa and available Aerobed, with ample space for both to be set up. This one story home is very family friendly for the youngest and eldest- plenty of toys, games, books, videos, charcoal grill, DISH network, wi-fi high speed internet, and a perfect spot for bird watching! While you may be in Gold Bar at the foothills of the mountains, you'll feel like you're at a remote mountain retreat- and the area's best recreation such as hiking, rafting and fishing are all just moments away. Wallace Falls State Park, just 4 miles from the cottage, has a lake, plenty of easy to moderate hiking trails, and a 265 foot waterfall!
